Establishment of the Krakow School of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies (KISD)

Acting in a sense of responsibility for the further development of science in Poland, educating Citizens and serving the development of science and society, an agreement on establishing a PhD school under the name of the “Krakow School of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies” (KISD) was concluded on May 6, 2019 between Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN), Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IKiFP PAN), Jerzy Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IF PAN), Aleksander Krupkowski Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMIM PAN) and AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (AGH).

Open day at the Cyfronet AGH Academic Computer Center 2024

The Cyfronet AGH Academic Computer Center organizes an Open Day for the scientific community of Kraków and Małopolska every year. The meeting presents the latest directions of development of computer and network architectures, new software technologies and the activities of the Centre. During the Open Day, the winners of the competition for the best doctoral thesis based on the computing resources of ACK Cyfronet AGH present their works.

4th young science congress- University of Gdańsk July 11-13, 2024

The Young Science Congress is a regular international and multidisciplinary scientific conference that takes place at the University of Gdansk. We are pleased to announce that the Krakow Interdisciplinary Doctoral School has received funding under the STER program – Internationalization of Doctoral Schools, 2023 edition. SSHN Scholarship Programme for a research stay in France, 2022

The SSHN scholarship is dedicated to Polish and foreign researchers working in a Polish scientific institution who would like to conduct research in France. PhD students associated with a Polish institution, but not currently pursuing a doctorate in the cotutelle or codirection system with a French institution, can also apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is addressed to all scientists who wish to establish Polish-French cooperation.

STER Programme- Internationalisation of doctoral schools

Krakow School of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies received funding in the STER Programme – Internationalisation of doctoral schools. The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange granted a system support package for the period from 04/01/2020 to 31/12/2023.
